This entrepreneur is shaking up the hydrogen water market with aggressive clinical research

Due to fast-paced lifestyles, everyone is constantly looking for therapeutic or medical solutions to stay fit and manage stress. For the same reason, health enthusiasts took notice when hydrogen water came onto the market, which was claimed to contain therapeutic properties for metabolic health.

Four years later, the hydrogen water industry is big business. But the emergence of so many companies selling hydrogen water has made it difficult to distinguish real water from fake water.

That's part of why Alex Tarnava, CEO and founder of Drink HRW, set out on a mission to create the most advanced and beneficial hydrogen water technology possible.

Tarnava stumbled upon molecular hydrogen while searching for new therapies that could slow the osteoarthritis he developed early in his physical prime.

As an athlete and science enthusiast, Tarnava was initially skeptical, especially because there were so many companies claiming to cure illnesses with hydrogen water but had no data to back up their claims.

So he decided to pursue his interest and develop his own do-it-yourself solution. Around this time, Tarnava contacted Dr. Richard Holland, an expert in medicinal chemistry, and asked him for help in the matter.

What is hydrogen water?

Simply put: Hydrogen Water is hydrogen gas (H2) dissolved in water.

But why do we need to dissolve extra hydrogen when water already contains it?

The hydrogen present in water binds with oxygen to form H2O and does not provide the benefits that molecular hydrogen has been scientifically proven to provide.

To date, clinical research has shown that inhalation of hydrogen gas has therapeutic medical effects. Hydrogen therapy has numerous benefits, including improving lifestyle-related metabolic disorders, athletic performance, recovery from neurological problems and even cancer research, both for treating the cancer and reducing the negative side effects of radiation and chemotherapy.

There have been over 1.500 published research papers supporting the benefits of hydrogen therapy, with approximately 100 human studies conducted, the vast majority of which have demonstrated a benefit. However, it is important to note that none of these studies are large-scale Phase III clinical research and that much more research is needed to confirm the potential benefits of hydrogen therapy, whether via hydrogen water or hydrogen inhalation, before Conclusions can be drawn about their absolute effectiveness.

Drink HRW tablets as a safe way to reverse metabolic syndrome

Tarnava explained how these hydrogen tablets work: “Hydrogen therapy has been shown to influence gene expression and regulate thousands of activities, especially when stress is involved. Essentially, hydrogen gas acts as an auditor or supervisor in the cells, correcting functions back to harmony. Hydrogen has been shown to regulate the production of antioxidants in the body while enhancing oxidative processes and leading to homeostasis. Hydrogen acts in this way for many other critical functions, such as autophagy, apoptosis, cellular senescence, NAD+/NADH ratios and – critically – a healthy inflammatory response. That is why it has proven effective in so many models”.
