Instructions Pulmovolta® Cavallo 1000
Modern H2 medicine since 2007
Main applications of hydrogen gas
- Hydrogen orally: By drinking water that is significantly enriched with hydrogen gas. Normal drinking water contains practically no hydrogen. Rare mineral springs contain less than 0,1 mg/l of hydrogen. Hydrogen water for therapeutic purposes contains at least 0,5 mg/l of dissolved hydrogen gas.
- Hydrogen inhalation: This involves adding a small percentage of H2 gas to the air we breathe in order to introduce much larger quantities into the bloodstream than when drinking.
- Baths in hydrogen-rich water.
Pulmovolta® Cavallo 1000 component system
Inhaler – Diffusion Stick – H2 Water Booster
Hydrogen medicine began in England in the 17th century and consisted exclusively of inhalation methods. In the 20th century, ideas for producing artificial healing water based on water electrolysis were developed in Germany and Japan. The gases H2 and O2 produced by electrolysis were dissolved in so-called "ionized water". The term "alkaline active water" became common for the hydrogen-rich artificial healing water. You can find the whole story in the book "Electroactivated Water" by Karl Heinz Asenbaum. Free download via the QR code.
There are still too few clinical studies on humans to include H2 medicine in the canon of conventional medicine. Therefore, Pulmovolta ® Cavallo is primarily a system for therapeutic professionals.
If you are a medical layperson, please note that we do not make any medical claims here.

The 3 inhalation options of the Pulmovolta® Cavallo 1000 inhaler
- You have 2 humidified safety gas outlets on your device that you can use depending on your individual choices.
- If you connect the nasal cannula to the humidifier's H2 output, only H2 will be added to the air you breathe.
O2 escapes into the room air on the right. - This blows oxyhydrogen (H2/O2) into the nasal cannula, which mixes with the inhalation air. This coupling is used to connect the outlets
- Simultaneous use with 2 nasal cannulas through the included Y-piece for partner breathing
- With the connection to the O2 outlet, only 100, 200 or 333ml of O2 per minute is added to the breathing air. This is too little and therefore not interesting
Hydrogen and oxygen, the two gases that our device produces from H2O, have opposite effects. Oxygen has an oxidizing effect, while hydrogen has antioxidant capacity. A mixture with more oxygen therefore initially seems pointless in order to produce healing effects.
Nevertheless, there are scientifically studied applications of an H2/O2 combination where, for example, significant effects were shown in cases of lung failure. However, they did not investigate how it would have been without oxygen. Therefore, we do not yet know whether pure H2 is better in every case. Our device is therefore equally open to all common H2 and H2/O2 philosophies.
2 Air – Henry Cavendish (1731 – 1810)
The English nobleman Henry Cavendish (1731 – 1810), one of the richest people of his time, could afford a life as a secluded scientist and researched completely strange things:
He discovered a gas called "inflammable air", which he described in his treatise on artificial air ("factitious airs") and which was later called "hydrogen". It consists of two hydrogen atoms (H2) and is the smallest molecule in the world.
Hydrogen atoms apparently make up 75% of the total mass in our solar system, and 93% of all atoms there are apparently hydrogen atoms. Why is there so much less hydrogen on our Earth, at 0,12% of the total mass, than in the rest of the universe? Because it is extremely volatile unless it is held in a chemical compound. And that brings us to Henry Cavendish's second life theme, gravity. He was the scientist who first proved the existence of gravity.
Hydrogen is fifteen times lighter than air, meaning that hydrogen has a much lower density than air. The gas disappears into space at around 5 meters per second. Gravity does not grab hold of it. That is why the earth's crust is only 2,9% hydrogen and not 75% hydrogen as in the universe (without dark matter). And that despite the fact that there seems to be as much hydrogen floating around in our oceans as H2O (water).
But hydrogen from water is released by living creatures on earth with the help of the sun and is prevented from escaping in the organism by chemical bonds. Humans are mostly made of water, i.e. burnt hydrogen. But pure hydrogen can be extracted from water. Our body water is, so to speak, a hydrogen reserve. The Pulmovolta® supplies us with hydrogen from outside, which is extracted from water using electrical energy.
By the way: A human being is made up of 99% hydrogen atoms. As long as we live. Because hydrogen is so small that, despite its predominance, it takes up much less space in our bodies.
The beginnings of hydrogen medicine
James Watt's H2 inhaler (1796)
The world's first hydrogen inhalation device was developed in 1796 by the inventor of the steam engine, James Watt, for the English pulmonologist Dr. Thomas Beddoes, the inventor of so-called "pneumatic" medicine. His contemporary Tiberius Cavallo, who gave his name to Pulmovolta® Cavallo, reported on this in 1798 in his book on the "medical properties of artificial air". Air mixtures containing up to 25% hydrogen were administered for asthma and catarrh. Today, in clinical practice, 2 - 4% H2 is usually added to the breathing gas.
Thomas Beddoes (1794)
Tiberius Cavallo (1798)
Hydrogen medicine only spread in England. The first patient to be treated with hydrogen gas was an asthma patient named Mr. Shephard. It was not until the 21st century that hydrogen inhalation was rediscovered and scientifically investigated.
H2 water
Before hydrogen inhalation was rediscovered at the beginning of the 21st century, the healing effects of hydrogen-rich water were the main subject of scientific discussion. Since the 1930s, inventors in Germany and Japan have been experimenting with water that has been subjected to electrolysis. This allows the pH value of the water to be changed, the redox potential to be shifted in a positive or negative direction, and the gases dissolved in the water to be remixed.
Since the 1970s, a global market for so-called water ionizers, which purified water using so-called diaphragm electrolysis, has developed in Japan and Korea. There have been many studies in which the healing effects of such electrolyte waters have been investigated and confirmed, but for a long time it was not known why this healing effect occurred.
It was only in 2007 that it gradually became clear that the hydrogen dissolved in the water was solely responsible for the healing effects. This eliminated all other explanations such as “high pH value”, “hexagonal clusters” or “negative redox potential”.
The industry initially developed water ionizers that could build up a particularly large amount of hydrogen in the water. However, the diaphragm electrolysis cells of the water ionizers were not well suited for this, as they produced unpleasantly high pH values the more hydrogen they produced. As a result, a modern type of electrolysis cell (PEM membrane) prevailed, which is also installed in your Aquavolta® Turbo H2 booster. It enables a hydrogen concentration four times higher than the best ionizers and does not change the pH value of the water at all. This also makes it possible to choose the individual taste of the water filled in and its mineral composition as desired.
In contrast to a water ionizer, the Aquavolta® H2 Turbo Booster is mobile, fits in almost any handbag and is powered by a powerful battery.
You will receive the Aquavolta® H2 Turbo Booster as a free accessory because we believe that this is a useful addition to the Pulmovolta® Cavallo hydrogen inhaler.

I am the happy owner of a Cavallo. On Yasin's advice, I opted for the 1000 and have not regretted it in the slightest. I inhale almost every morning and evening for 30 minutes each (667 ml of hydrogen and 333 ml of oxygen) and find it more than pleasant and relaxing. Yes, I enjoy it in the truest sense of the word. My general well-being has been excellent since then. My deep sleep rate at night has also increased noticeably. I can only recommend the Cavallo 1000 with the utmost conviction.
My sincerest thanks to Yasin and his team!!! Everything was to our complete satisfaction. Excellent customer service! It couldn't be better!!
