The simplest answer to this nonsense is the keyword bioavailability of minerals in water. Proven by the report from the University of Vienna www.montes.at .
You can see there that all foods are significantly inferior to good, mineral-rich water to all other mineral donors, even to milk, cheese or meat products, but also to vegetarian food. So there is no quicker way for the body to get minerals than mineral-rich water.
Alkaline activated water actually contains more minerals in the form of cations such as calcium, magnesium and sodium than the tap water from which it was obtained.
Alkaline active water is created by electrolysis in the cathode chamber of a water ionizer. Mineral cations migrate into the cathode chamber and lead to an increase in the mineral content of positive ions in the basic active water.
At the same time, molecular hydrogen is created, which can dissolve up to 1,6 mg / liter in the basic active water. This makes alkaline water ionizers equivalent to devices that can only dissolve molecular hydrogen (H2) in water, but cost just as much without making the water alkaline at the same time.
Basic information about demineralized water

As a solvent and information carrier, water has excellent dissolving properties and absorbs minerals, among other things, on its way through nature. This is the only way inorganic minerals are transported to plants (trees, vegetables, fruit, etc.).
This basic process has existed since the beginning of the earth and the natural cycle. Single-celled and multicellular organisms were the first living creatures to be supplied with minerals exclusively through water. This has not changed to this day. Only mineral deficiencies have increased due to changes in larger living creatures. Since this amount could no longer be covered by water alone, minerals had to be taken in additionally through "edible mineral stores" - plants, living creatures.
For millions and millions of years, organisms of all kinds have been able to absorb and metabolize inorganic minerals dissolved in water. With any other theory, the development of living creatures, humans, would be unthinkable. Why should it behave differently in humans?
Minerals are always inorganic
If inorganic minerals are actually not beneficial for Homo sapiens, why haven't humans adapted to them? Humans have had enough time for selection and adaptation ever since they walked the earth. How did we actually survive with these incompatible and supposedly unhealthy inorganic minerals in our drinking water, and this for thousands of years without reverse osmosis systems?
The following is an excerpt from Hans-Heinrich Jörgensen. He has been a naturopath since 1962 and vice president of the Biochemical Association of Germany:
“For some time now, the foolhardy idea has been floating around the country that humans cannot use inorganic minerals, that they have to be organic minerals, and that the damage caused by inorganic minerals can be repaired by drinking distilled water, demineralized by reverse osmosis or similarly treated water.
For the sake of clarity: Organic minerals are a contradiction in terms. Minerals are always inorganic. The cations sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium and some metals have been used effectively in biochemistry for 120 years as chlorates, phosphates and sulfates.
Minerals retain their "inorganic" properties even when they are incorporated into plants or the human body. This does not detract from their vital effects, because it is precisely the associated electrophysical properties that control the resting and action potential in nerve and muscle cells, regulate the water balance via osmosis, and enable the provision of energy through phosphorylation."
Water as a source of minerals?
However, the fact is that water does not only serve as a source of minerals.
The inorganic minerals give the water essential properties that make it beneficial for the human organism and the body's internal environment.
What effect does the removal of minerals caused by reverse osmosis systems have?
The pH value of the water shifts into the medium acidic range of pH values of up to pH 5.
And what happens to such consumed water in the body, in which, as is well known, an alkaline pH value (blood pH7,38 - pH7,42) must be maintained under all circumstances?
It must be raised to the body environment!
This means that the body's own mineral stores could be plundered from the hair base and connective tissue, among other things, in order to raise the pH value of the acidic water to the blood pH value of approx. pH 7,4 in order to counteract a derailment of the blood pH value .
In any standard medical physiology book you can read what consequences metabolic acidosis would otherwise have.
In the long term, consuming reverse osmosis water makes the body acidic because at some point the body's mineral stores are used up. The consequences of the mineral deficit are again a topic in themselves.
Interestingly, this theory that inorganic minerals in water cannot be metabolized by the organism and are not needed in the water has only been widespread since the introduction of distillation apparatus or reverse osmosis systems:
Half-truths spread by osmosis system representatives
The reverse osmosis representatives try to create the appearance of scientificity and seriousness through such half-truths and distorted scientific facts.
Among other things, they also use the theories of the French researcher Prof. Vincent to advertise their systems and claim that he defined low conductivity as the only criterion for the health of water.
The reverse osmosis advocates do not mention that Prof. Vincent clearly pointed out that health-promoting water must have a negative redox potential and an alkaline pH value, as is the case with alkaline activated water (ionized water).
Furthermore, it is argued that water with a conductivity greater than 120 microSiemens is no longer conductive. If this were the case, no excretion of metabolic end products could occur via the kidneys when consuming water from healing springs such as those in Lourdes or Mecca. In both cases, however, the conductance is well over 200 microSiemens.

I recommend that you simply do a self-test and you will see for yourself that there is nothing to this theory from the reverse osmosis sellers except smoke and mirrors.
To do this, drink water with a particularly high conductivity of, for example, 700 microsiemens for one day and measure the conductance of your morning urine yourself the following morning with a TDS meter (can be purchased inexpensively from Conradelektronik or eBay) and you will be amazed to find that the conductance of your morning urine will be well over 700 microsiemens.
How is this possible when the reverse somosis advocates vehemently spread the false claim that such water can only serve as a solvent and to eliminate waste products in the body?
The explanation for this and the truth behind it, which the reverse osmosis sellers withhold from you, is that the conductivity of the water plays a much less important role.
The decisive factor for the dissolving capacity, i.e. the absorption capacity of the water, is the cluster size and arrangement of the water. The smaller the water clusters are, the larger the surface area of the water molecules and the more cell-permeable the water is.
In order to get into the cell, the water molecules have to pass through special water channels called aquaporins (only discovered in the 90s; the discoverer received the Nobel Prize for this in 2003).
The selectivity filter of the aquaporins allows only one H2O molecule to pass through the channel at a time.
This means that it has to split the water clusters into individual molecules. The larger the water clusters are (particularly good in bad water, tap water and reverse osmosis water), the more energy the body has to spend on them, which can lead to not enough water getting into the cells despite water consumption and the cells not being adequately hydrated.
Waters with small and hexagonal water clusters, such as those found in healing springs such as Lourdes and also in ionized activated water, have proven to be particularly soluble and permeable to cells.
How advantageous it is for the sellers of reverse osmosis systems to simply conceal such connections. A rogue who now thinks evil. Every product needs its sales strategy and philosophy.

Studies on humans carried out using modern tracer methods (= administration of stable isotopes) have also shown a bioavailability of 25 to 45% from water for calcium.
This means that the bioavailability of calcium from water is just as high as from milk (Heaney and Dowell, 1994; Couzy et al., 1995; Wynckel., et al., 1997).
Conclusion 4: Calcium and magnesium are essential minerals. The requirement depends on lifestyle, among other things. Physical inactivity increases the need for calcium.
